The locations of ten new headspace centres have been announced by the Federal Government and headspace. The new centres are part of the $78 million funding package for headspace announced in the May Federal Budget. The first raft of those centres will be located in areas of high need.

The Riverina Division of General Practice & Primary Health invites you to become a member of our organisation. The Division is strongly committed to improving health outcomes for individuals and the community and believes that this can be best achieved by continually expanding our membership.

By becoming a member of the Riverina Division of General Practice & Primary Health you will be supporting the valuable role that the Division plays in enhancing general practice, improving primary health care and supporting the health of the community.

Who is eligible to become a member of the Division?

Primary Membership

Primary Membership is open to practicing General Practitioners in the Division’s boundaries who are committed to supporting the aims and objects of the company.

Definition: “Any person being a General Practitioner (means a qualified medical practitioner as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cwlth) including any amendment or re-enactment of that act or any legislation passed in substitution and who spends some regular time in general practice and whose practice involves the provision of primary care) in the Riverina Division area”.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to Specialists, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals, General Practice Staff including Practice Managers and Practice Nurses, General Practitioners who practice outside of the Division area, and retired General Practitioners who are committed to supporting the aims and objects of the company.

Definition: "Any Health Professional who resides in the Riverina Division area, who is committed to supporting the aims and objects of the Company.”

Community Membership

Community Membership is open to any individual, business, company or organisation who understands the valuable work carried out by the Division and who is committed to supporting the aims and objects of the company.

Definition: "Any person or organisation that resides within the Riverina Division area, who is committed to supporting the aims and objects of the Company"
