To increase general practice Pandemic Influenza preparedness  

About the program (  Factsheet)

The Pandemic Influenza initiative aims to work with General Practices, key partners and other stakeholders in the community to ensure an appropriate level of Pandemic Influenza preparedness. To program also aims to make appropriate representation to government and other organisations regarding the role of rural General Practitioners and General Practice.

Interested General Practitioners and Practice Nurses are invited to participate in Pandemic Influenza Steering Committee meetings. Other representatives on the committee include Greater Southern Area Health Service and Divsion staff.
